Grandma’s favorite all-purpose remedy for purifying the blood and lowering blood pressure! This recipe is a true treasure.

A strong immune system is crucial, as it protects us from viruses and bacteria throughout the year. Before we get to the recipe, however, we’d like to share five tips for a strong immune system.

A balanced diet rich in fruits and vegetables, especially broccoli, cabbage, garlic, tomatoes, carrots, spinach, citrus fruits, nuts, dark berries, and grapes. Eat the rainbow!
Vitamin D is essential for a strong immune system. Since many people suffer from vitamin D deficiency in winter, supplements can be beneficial.
Exercise strengthens the heart and blood vessels, as well as the immune system. Endurance sports like running, swimming, and cycling are ideal. However, don’t overdo it, as this can have the opposite effect. Take it slow…
Avoid stress as much as possible, as severe, persistent stress weakens the immune system and provides optimal conditions for pathogens to multiply. So, slow down before things get too much.
Make sure you get enough sleep. Those who start the day well-rested are less susceptible to infections and colds. Too little sleep leads to a reduction in immune cells and a weakened immune system.

To stay free from colds in winter and get an extra dose of vitamins, we like to drink a ginger shot. But it doesn’t always have to be as spicy as in our pink ginger shot recipe. This delicious immune-boosting juice tastes amazing thanks to apples and oranges and will certainly do you good. Here too, ginger is added to the juice, and the beetroot gives it a beautiful pink color. So get out your juicer and treat yourself!
Ingredients for 750 ml:

2 oranges
, 3 apples
, 1 beetroot,
30 g fresh ginger

Peel and quarter the two oranges. Core the apples and cut them into large cubes. Wash the beets thoroughly and peel the ginger. Then, add all the ingredients to a juicer one after the other and juice them. The juice is best enjoyed fresh and cold with a few ice cubes.

Alternatively, all ingredients can be finely blended in a blender on the highest setting. Then, the juice should be strained through a fine sieve or a nut milk bag to remove the plant fibers. This way, you can get fresh juice even without a juicer!
